Witnessing or suspecting abuse is an overwhelming thing to handle. Suspecting abuse does not mean that you are nosy; it means that you are a concerned with the safety and well-being of another. Anyone can be a bystander to abuse, but it is important to intervene in a safe and appropriate way for him or her.
Our mission is to raise awareness and provide employers with practical support and tools to take positive action in the workplace.
“Work was my only safe place. When I told them what was going on they supported me wholeheartedly – everything from giving me a company car to go to counselling, time off to see lawyers, and they believed in me. Each person's journey is personal and full of dignity and grace. That's critical for people to know. And it's critical for people to know that they are not alone”
